Pre-conference scientific tour to Curonian Spit National Park with visiting: LTER site (Nagliai reserve) and Preila EMEP station; Mountain pine stands and man made fires on afforested Curonian Spit dunes; Pine stands under the effect of invasion of alien bird species; European beech sites at the most northern location of their occurrence, and other famous natural (the costal dunes), historical (castles along the river Nemunas) and ethnographical objects (Witch Hill). | |

| Wednesday, May 23, | Parallel sessions and business meeting of COST, ENVeurope, ICP IM and APW. For those who do not attend these sessions: Excursion to Lithuanian Forest Research Institute and ICP Forest Monitoring Level 2 Plot or to the nitrogen fertilizer plant JC “Achema” and the surrounding coniferous forest. After lunch - sessions 8 and 9. Conference gala-dinner | |

| Friday, May 25 | Post conference tour to the eastern part of Lithuania and the Aukstaitija Integrated Monitoring station (LTER site). Also visiting historical monuments and other famous places. | |

Due to a possibility of a large number of participants the organizing committee of the joint conference reserves the right to extend the work in sessions until Friday and postponing the post conference tour to Saturday and departure to Sunday.
IUFRO, APW SC, COST MC, ENVeurope project and other organizations will have the possibility to organize their own one-day or half a day business, technical or scientific meetings.
